Abstract

The aim of this study was to Introduction and Cross-Cultural Adaptation of Professional Identity Tensions Scale among Elementary school Teachers in Karaj in the first half of 2020. The method of the present study was based on psychometric methods and the tools used were the professional identity stress scale of Hanna et al. (2019), the statistical population were all elementary school teachers of Karaj and the statistical sample of 340 teachers who due to the prevalence of coronavirus, were selected by available method. Data analysis method in Varimax rotational exploratory factor analysis; Cronbach's alpha coefficient was the maximum correlation in the confirmatory factor analysis and in the reliability study. The results showed that the fitness indices in the factor structure obtained during the exploratory analysis were favorable. This has confirmed the validity of the structure of the Persian version of the instrument under study. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was obtained for each of the subscales as well as the total scale above 0.7. In general, the results showed that the scale has acceptable validity and reliability.
