The Effect of Triz Training on the Problem Solving Ability of Specialized Industry and Mining holding Managers

Abstract

The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Triz training on the problem solving ability of Expert Holding of Industry and Mining managers. For this purpose, a sample of 86 members of the 110-member community of holding managers including headquarters managers, subsidiaries and projects was selected by random sampling. In this study, a pretest post test experimental design with a control group was used which consisted of an independent variable of Triz training and dependent variables self-esteem in problem solving, tendency-avoidance style and personal control. The instrument used for data collection was standard questionnaire of Hepner and Patterson problem solving. Research hypotheses were tested using covariance analysis. The results showed that Triz training increased self-esteem in problem solving, orientation-avoidance, personal control, and problem-solving skills of specialized industry and mining managers. According to the results of this study, it can be concluded that Triz training is effective in increasing the problem solving ability of managers
