The purpose of this research was to design and validate the model of knowledge leadership in Iran's knowledge-based companies. The research method is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive survey in terms of data collection and mixed method (quantitative and qualitative with phenomenological approach) in terms of data type. The statistical population in the qualitative section of 12 managers of knowledge-based companies was selected and investigated by snowball sampling method and after theoretical saturation. The 7-step Colaizy method was used to analyze the data. The results indicated the extraction of 209 codes in the beginning, which according to the analysis of the lived experiences of managers of knowledge-based companies in Iran in the field of knowledge leadership, including: 4 main dimensions (including: goal setting, educational policies, support policies, functional policies), 8 The component (including: individual excellence,...) was extracted according to formulated concepts. In order to evaluate the findings of the research in the qualitative part, the qualitative form (Guba and Lincoln method) and the quantitative form of the Holesti coefficient (0.898) and the relative content validity coefficient (CVR) were used. In the quantitative part, a descriptive survey method was used. The statistical population in this part included all managers of knowledge-based companies, who were selected by simple random sampling method to determine the sample size of 360 people using Morgan's table. The results showed entire knowledge leadership model has a good fit and validity and all the obtained variables can be considered in the design of the final model.
