Analysis of the Antecedents and Consequences of the Implementation of Knowledge Management in the Higher Education System

Abstract

The research has a mixed approach, in terms of applied and descriptive survey goals. The statistical population of the research in the qualitative and quantitative part of the research includes professors and experts, and 23 people were selected as a sample.The data collection tool is a semi-structured interview in the qualitative part and a questionnaire in the quantitative part, whose validity was confirmed using content validity and its reliability was confirmed using the inconsistency rate.In the qualitative part of the research, the obtained data were analyzed using MAXQDA software and the coding process, and in this way, the antecedents and consequences of the implementation of knowledge management in the higher education system were identified.Finally, in the quantitative part, fuzzy Delphi method was used to determine their importance and prioritization.The findings of the research indicate that up-to-date facilities and technology, creating a knowledge base, sharing knowledge, making a policy for the development and interaction of knowledge, creating and absorbing knowledge, creating motivation in the organization, setting goals in establishing knowledge, saving Creating knowledge, organizational support, creating an effective communication system, decentralization and deformalization, training employees and organizing knowledge as precursors to implementing knowledge management and increasing productivity, improving learning, flexibility,increasing attention to the internal environment and External, empowering employees, improving work group culture, aligning organizational goals with knowledge management goals, improving collaborative culture, increasing transparency and accountability,changing employee behavior, increasing awareness, providing better services and preventing rework are also the consequences of implementation.Knowledge management in the higher education system was determined.
