Presenting a model for evaluating school management competencies with a quantitative approach

Abstract

Background and Objective: This research aims to propose a model for evaluating the competencies of high school management in the education department of Tonekabon County, Western Mazandaran.
research methodology: This study is classified as applied research based on its objective. Descriptive-non-experimental method was employed for data collection, falling under the category of descriptive research among various research methods. The statistical population of the study includes 10 experts in education from Tonekabon County, who were surveyed using an expert questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using the ANP-DEMATEL approach.
Findings: Based on the conducted studies, the main criteria of the research include "policy creation", "individual development of personnel", "redesigning school principals", "improving educational programs", and "utilizing appropriate leadership styles". According to the research results, the criterion of "policy creation" with a final weight of 0.222 holds the highest priority among the criteria and is the most influential criterion, while the sub-criterion of "challenges and changes" with a final weight of 0.083 holds the highest priority among the sub-criteria. The criterion of "individual development of personnel" is the most influential. The criterion of "improving educational programs" shows the highest susceptibility and interaction among the criteria.
Conclusion: These results can serve as a guide for enhancing the competencies of school management in future years.
