The effectiveness of Molvi's masnavi stories on students' self-esteem and psychological well-being

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to determine the effectiveness of Mawlawi's Masnavi stories on students' self-esteem and psychological well-being. The method of the current research was an experiment with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the research includes all male students of the first secondary course of Ardabil city who were studying in the academic year of 1402-1403. 40 students were selected by available sampling method and randomly replaced in two experimental and control groups. Research tools included self-esteem questionnaire (RSES) and psychological well-being (PWB). The data was analyzed using analysis of covariance test. The findings of the research showed that the spiritual stories of Masnavi had an effect on the self-esteem and psychological well-being of the students. Therefore, it is possible to use the stories of Masnavi Maani in order to increase self-esteem, psychological well-being and improve students' performance.Therefore, it is possible to use the stories of Masnavi Maani in order to increase self-esteem, psychological well-being and improve students' performance.
