Abstract
Despite the role of Quranic schools in religious socialization, a contextualized, systematic management model is lacking. This study aimed to develop an appropriate management model for Quranic schools in Ardabil. This applied, qualitative study employed Strauss and Corbin’s systematic grounded theory. Fourteen university professors in educational sciences and Quranic studies were purposively sampled until theoretical saturation. Data collected from semi-structured interviews were analyzed via iterative open, axial, and selective coding (yielding 122 codes, 95 concepts, 15 categories, and 6 core themes) to construct the final model. The developed model encompasses crucial dimensions: teacher quality, educational infrastructure, leadership/diversity management, curriculum planning, adherence to Islamic values, quality control, networking, reward systems, extracurriculars, psychological counseling, parental engagement, financial support, educational technology, time management, and life skills. By illustrating the relationships among key administrative components, this model provides a scientific framework for educational administrators, planners, and policy-makers to enhance management quality and efficiency in Quranic schools.
