Background and Objective:. The purpose of this study was to identify the solutions of the principals of girls' elementary schools in order to make the physical space of schools more conducive to learning.
Research methodology: The statistical population of the research was the principals of girls' primary schools in two Ahvaz districts, and the data was collected by means of a chain method of purposive sampling and theoretical saturation with 21 principals of semi-structured interviews. The semi-structured interview questions were examined in terms of formal and content validity, writing, phrasing and relevance to the purpose and were analyzed by qualitative content analysis method. Finally, the results have been extracted and categorized.
Findings: Based on the findings, the most important basis for the solutions provided by the school administrators is to pay attention to all the factors affecting the physical, social, mental and emotional growth and teaching and learning of students. And these solutions include: paying attention to the active role of the learner, facilitating learning according to the variety of learning materials and resources, using happy colors, paying attention to landscaping and flexibility of space, creating informal social environments, paying attention to temperature, ventilation, light and noise. Interior architecture and classroom layout, play spaces, personal spaces, public learning space.
Conclusion: The physical space of educational environments has a direct effect on how to learn and reduce students' learning problems.
