[English]

Objective:: The purpose of the present study was to design and validate an e-coaching model for educational leaders. This research was applied in nature and employed a mixed-methods approach.
research methodology: In the qualitative phase, the study population consisted of experts in the field of education who were selected through theoretical purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 20 Participants and analyzed using Colaizzi's coding method. In the quantitative phase, a researcher-developed questionnaire on e-coaching for educational leaders was used to validate the proposed model. The statistical population in this phase included school principals in Karaj during the 2023–2024 academic year. Based on Monte Carlo simulations for sample size estimation in factor analysis, a sample of 300 individuals was selected. Data analysis was conducted using Smart PLS software.
Findings: The qualitative findings identified 15 dimensions of e-coaching, including: “Acceptance,” “Asking reflective questions,” “Needs assessment,” “Competency level identification,” “responsibility,” “Goal setting,” “Planning,” “Content determination,” “Technology selection,” “Online safety,” “Provision of skilled human resources,” “Budget allocation,” “Interaction,” “Evaluation,” and “Feedback.” The quantitative findings also showed that the developed model possessed acceptable validity.
Conclusion: The e-coaching model for educational leaders, consisting of 15 dimensions and 56 indicators, possesses sufficient validity and can serve as an effective framework for enhancing the effectiveness of e-coaching and promoting the professional development of educational leaders. Based on the findings, it is suggested that schools, universities and other educational organizations use this model as a practical guide for designing and implementing e-coaching programs.
